These paediatric electrode pads are for use with the FRED PA-1 from Schiller and can be pre-connected to the device to save vital time during an emergency. Sadly, similar to adults, children can also fall victim to cardiac arrest. This is why having a set of paediatric electrode pads is essential, especially if your location is frequented by children. Paediatric pads are vital for using an AED on a child (aged 1-8). After the pads have been connected to the device, they automatically reduce the Joule output of the defibrillator to a level suitable for a child's heart.
