Polar SmashTag is a continuous temperature data logger with extremely high accuracy and incredibly simple to use. SmashTag developed their patented Bluetooth single-use device, which is now supplied by Polar for use up to 2 years, or 64,000 data points. Polar Thermal can provide cold chain logistics companies with pre-programmed devices that will report on departure, arrival, and Geo-Locate the readings. Data is stored in the cloud so is immediately accessible at HQ as well as at the destination. Logistics administrators can be notified of data reports, or alarms immediately, by email and/or text. The device is hermetically sealed and can monitor temperatures between -30°C and +70°C.
